FLP †Flipase producing lines †These lines contain a construct expressing the yeast FLP-recombinase (Flippase) under the control of a gene enhancer or promoter. The Flippase catalyzes recombination between FRTs resulting in somatic clones, which is useful for mosaic analysis. See also: FRT This subset does not include the BruinFly although the line bears an X chromosome that contains a construct expressing Flippase under the control of eyeless enhancer (P{ey-FLP.N}).
