Strain Information
DGRC Number 109616
Genotype with FlyBase Link y[*] w[*]; Pngl[ex14.1] / CyO
Genotype y* w*; Pnglex14.1 / CyO
Received Date 12 May 2010
Chromosome 1;2
Also known as Pngl[ex14], PNGase
Original Source Yoko Funakoshi, Glycometabolome Team, Systems Glycobiology Research Group, RIKEN Advanced Science Institute, Wako, Saitama, Japan
Original Comments A microdeletion mutant strain in Pngl gene produced by the imprecise excision of Pngl gene, deletions extend from just upstream of the shorter Pngl-RA transcript (within the second intron of the longer Pngl-RB transcript) into the protein coding region, and the Pngl gene is predicted to express in-frame truncated protein by RT-PCR analysis; transglutaminase domain is deleted.
Genus Drosophila
Subgenus Sophophora
Species Group melanogaster
