Genotype with FlyBase Link | w[*]; Fmr1[B55] |
Genotype | w*; Fmr1B55 |
Received Date | 30 June 2004 |
Comments | In FlyBase, the allele Fmr1[B55] is found as Fmr1[B155]. A typoloigical error in FlyBase? 08 July 2004. M. Tomaru |
Also known as | w[*]; Fmr1B55, dmfr1 |
Original Source | Haruhiko Siomi, University of Tokushima |
Original Comments | Fmr1B55 allele is a hypomorphic allele, and homozygous Fmr1B55 mutants can be easily maintained as a stock. Homozygous Fmr1B55 mutants show abnormal circadian locomotor activity, and thus that could be used as a model to study the molecular pathways leading to fragile X syndrome. |
