Genotype with FlyBase Link | w[*]; P{hs-Gal4-LargeT}3 |
Genotype | w*; P{hs-Gal4-LargeT}3 |
Original Number | kN16-D2 |
Comments | Cy seems to be fixed. 28Apr2015 M.W. |
Also known as | GTDa |
Original Source | Daisuke Yamamoto, Waseda Univeristy |
Original Comments | Produced as tools for the inducible gene-trap system. In the inducible gene-trap system, the DNA binding domain of Gal4 is expressed from the P{Gal4DBD-p53} transgene (GTDb) while the activation domain of Gal4 is to be expressed from another transgene, P{hsGal4-LargeT} (GTDa). Unless the two transgenes are co-expressed, the target gene driven by the UAS sequence cannot be activated. The effect of the Gal4DBD-p53 transgene is indifferent between P{Gal4DBD-p53}2(DGRC# 109051, original# kN14-C4, the 2nd chromosome insertion line) and P{Gal4DBD-p53}3 (DGRC# 109050, original# kN14-B4, 3rd chromosome insertion line). |
