Strong Ubx phenotype in Ubx[130]/Ubx[601] flies (halteres -> wings). .Reported by Choo to be semi-lethal, 31% survival of homozygotes in uncrowded conditions, zero when crowded. .Homozygotes show weak transformation in adults - most halteres have 2-3 extra bristles. .No transformation observed in homozygous embryos. .YFP expression observed in embryos and haltere disc (Lawrence Choo). .Viability of homozygotes could not be confirmed. |
