| Original Comments | This transgene is on the X chromosome. The base change causing Y213F amino acid change was introduced into a cDNA of Oryza sativa OsSPO11D gene (a homologue of D. melanogaster mei-W68 gene) cloned into a P-element transformation vector CaSpeR-hsp83, which includes hsp80 promoter and hsp70 terminator as well as a mini-white gene, and transformed. The ectopic expression from this transgene did not show double-stranded break-forming activity. |
