FRT-lethal (BruinFly) †

Lethal lines with FRT and ey-FLP †

Each stock has a lethal P-element insertion and a FRT element on the 2L, 2R, 3L or 3R chromosome arm. Somatic reconbinations by using FLP generates mosics of homozygous for a lethal P-element, heterozygous and homozygous for wild type. We have about 1,300 lines available for distribution.

Lethality †

We found flies homozygous for the lethal insertion chromosome in some lines. If we find these cases, we add comments about it, but it is not completed. Please carefully examine the line before you use and we will welcome your feedback information.
