† Flipase producing lines
These lines contain a construct expressing the yeast FLP-recombinase (Flippase) under the control of a gene enhancer or promoter. The Flippase catalyzes recombination between FRTs resulting in somatic clones, which is useful for mosaic analysis.

This subset does not include the BruinFly although the line bears an X chromosome that contains a construct expressing Flippase under the control of eyeless enhancer (P{ey-FLP.N}).
